have for some time ordered American Goods through the firm of
Messrs. Arkell & Douglas Inc., 44 Whitehall Street, New York, U.S.A.
financing same by Credits through the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking
Corporation. As informed you, there is now some difficulty as to
the exact tature of which we are not acquainted with but we under-

We beg to hand you a list of goods now on order some of
which are no doubt already on the way and we shall be glad if you
will authorise the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation to
allow the balance to come forward from Messrs. Arkell & Douglas
otherwise we shall be placed in a serious difficulty with our

are all manufactured in America and we receive the original
manufacturers invoices.
